Side Shift Safety Scissor Lift
Access for a welding application processes prompted the design of a scissors lift system that was capable of shifting the platform to either side of a fixed position base. This electric / hydraulic powered side shifting safety platform can move in either direction to cantilever over the product, allowing the operator access to work cells on either side of the lift. Worker safety was enhanced by eliminating the need to climb ladders to reach the product work surface.
