Parts Picking Made Easy

LPI, Inc., manufacturer of standard and custom personnel lifts, material handling equipment and work platforms in Eau Claire, WI, has an electrically powered material handling parts picking lift which greatly minimizes the time required to get the product from the rack to the shipping dock. The parts picker travels the lengths of the aisleway between racks which are 25 ft. high, raising and lowering the platform to a desired picking location. The 10 ft. x 16 ft. platform, which features easy one-person operation, is designed for a large product load of 2,500 lbs. with shelving on the platform. Two motors are synchronized to keep the platform level at all times. Several safety features are built in. Controls provide smooth speed adjustment for acceleration and deceleration. The lift travels at 170 FPM horizontally and 40 FPM vertically.
